Dreadful Penny

It was hot, it was crowded, and it was terrific! We settled in our folding chairs near the corner of Woodward and John R before 9:00 am. Unfortunately, we were on the wrong side of the street to appreciate the female flasher in an apartment above, but we had a great view of everything else.

I’m a little sunburned and I’ve got loads of photos and video to process, then I’ll update the post with some media. Woo!

UPDATE: Album of nine more parade photos here, including Nik Lidstrom with the Cup. We would have had a lot more pictures, but my husband was snapping them using my (unfamiliar) camera. A combination of bad settings and bad luck meant that he thought he took many, many more pictures than actually were recorded. Ugh! We both feel awful about that. I have a lot of video clips, though, and will be uploading them tomorrow.
